Sensory processing disorders and sensory deficits are main reasons why children may have
learning difficulties and they often emerge in the first few months of a child’s life. Sensory profiling
helps to identify clusters of behaviours that might indicate difficulties in aspects of sensory processing
and identify sensory anomalies.
